Columbia County Historical Society Collections
This site features a selection of the over 7,500 photographic prints, negatives, and slides in the Columbia County Historical Society's collection. Items in the entire collection range from postcards of the county's landscape and communities, many views of local houses, and daguerreotypes of county residents, to photos of schools, churches, recreational activities, workplaces, and a wide variety of other topics. The images date from the mid 1800s to the present. Many other documents relating to the county's history and culture are available for research in the Columbia County Historical Society's library and manuscripts collections.
