Dutchess County Historical Society Collections
The Dutchess County Historical Society was formed in 1914 to preserve and share the county's rich history and tradition. The only county wide agency of its kind the Society is an active leader and promoter of local history in Dutchess County. The collection contains manuscript collections, diaries, correspondence, photographs, deeds, wills, genealogical reference material, textiles including needlework and clothing, a reference library and house museum.
