View The Education in a Valley Fair exhibit - This exhibit explores the growth of education in the New Paltz area from the early Huguenot days through the twentieth century. It is a collaborate effort of the Haviland-Heidgerd Historical Collection at Elting Library, Historic Huguenot Street and the Sojourner Truth Library at the State University of New York at New Paltz, and is based on materials from their respective collections.

Browse the The Sojourner Truth Library Historic Photograph Collection - This collection consists of almost 200 print photographs of various sizes and photographic processes. The photographs document the history of higher education in the town of New Paltz, from the establishment of the first New Paltz Academy in 1828, to the present State University of New York at New Paltz. Highlights from that collection are included here on the HRVH site.
