Know All Men By these Presents that
We (whose Names are [] Subscribed)the Elders and Deacons of the Reformed Protestant Dutch church
of Kingston In the County of Ulster and Province
of New York Have Constituted and authorized
and in Our Stead and Place by these Prospects Put
Peter Van Der Line of Kingston aforesaid to be Our
True and Lawfull attorney for us and In Our Names
and to Our use to ask, sue for, Levy and Receive
all and Every Such Debts, Sum and Sums of Money
which are now and hereafter May become Due unto
us from any Person or Persons Or any way howsoever
by way of Promise or free subscription for the
paying or Maintaining of the Minister Dom Petrus
Vas for his Serving the Congragation of the aforesaid
Church and for his yearly Sallary or Stipend.
Giving and Granting unto Our said attorney our
full Power and authority in and about the Premesis
and on the receipt of any such Debt or Sum of Money
[ ] or other Discharges for us & In our names
to Make Seal and Deliver, and all and Every Such act
and acts, thing and things, Devise and Devises In the Law
for the Recovery of all and Every Such Debt or Sum of
money as aforesaid for us and In Our Names to Do
Execute and Perform as fully to all [ ] as Well our
Selves might or Could do if Personally Present [ ]
