Description	Postcard postmarked 1910 titled "Public School, Clintondale, N.Y." This two-room school house was built in 1897 and used as a school until 1962, when the school closed its doors and students were transported to the schools in Highland, N.Y. The school was located on South Street in Clintondale near the intersection of Maple Avenue, South Street and Hurds Road.
Notes	After closing, the building was used for a short time as a Community Center and later burned. In 2007 the site remains a vacant lot, owned and used as a parking lot by the proprietors of the Hollywood Bar.
