Description	This photograph depicts the Day Line Steamboat Robert Fulton docking at the Newburgh Landing during the Hudson-Fulton Celebration. Steamboats enabled individuals to travel between Albany and New York with relative ease. In the Fall of 1908, the Day Line Steamboat New York was destroyed by fire at the Newburgh shipyard. The Robert Fulton was built in a hurry as a replacement in order to take part in the Hudson-Fulton celebration
