. This
hair
style
is
typical
of the
1850s
. The
carte

visit
has
two
lines
, a
thin
inner
one
, and a
thicker
outer
line
,
which
was
predominately
used
after
1866.

Sarah
Maria
attended
and
boarded
at the
New
Paltz
Academy
in
1833
. She
married
Louis
Hasbrouck
in
1850
at the
age
of
27
. The
couple
relocated
to the
town
of
Ogdensburg
, in
upstate
New
York
,
where
they
raised
three
children
.
Sarah
Maria
Hasbrouck
died
of
typhus
fever
in
1858
,
when
she was
35
years
old
. She
is
buried
in the
Ogdensburg
Cemetery
in
Ogdensburg
,
New
York
.
