Description	Oval shaped matting in off-white with a gold ring. The center is a black and white seated waist length studio portrait of George Innis. George is wearing a dark colored heavy coat, that buttons up the front. He is wearing a dark colored bow tie at his neck and part of his white collar is visible. His hair is ear length, parted to one side, and curls around his ears.
Notes	George Innis was born in Poughkeepsie, New York on June 7, 1822. In 1855, he married Ann Bevier Hasbrouck (1827-1906) daughter of Levi and Hylah Hasbrouck. The couple resided in Poughkeepsie, New York at Rosewood, located on 40 Main Street, where they had two children, Martha and Hasbrouck Innis. George died at the age of 81 on November 26, 1903.
