Description	In this photograph an older woman stands with one hand on her hip, the other hand resting on the blackboard ledge, staring at the writing on a blackboard. The woman is wearing a dress with a belted waist and large black buttons. She is wearing glasses and both a brooch and a large bow are on pinned to her dress. The writing on the blackboard says, "Ernest S. James", "August 1913" and '9-5" '. There is also a large smudge of eraser in which is seen "64 x 5 = 325". Caption on separate notecard indicates, "Mrs. Ernest James viewing her husband's signature on blackboard in school. 'Aunt Jen' served at various times as tax collector, postmistress and library clerk".
