. For
almost
a
century
the
Clarkstown
Reformed
Church
shared
the
services
of its
pastor
with the
church
at
Tappan
. In
1834
a
full-time
pastor
was
called
and this
building
and a
site
across
the
road
, was
purchased
for him.
It
was
enlarge
in
1835
.
Replaced
by a
parsonage
in
1894
this
home
was
moved
,
first
to a
nearby
location
subsequently
taken
by the
Thruway
in
1954
and then into this
site
.
