Description	A woman wears a version of the “garden dress” probably of fine linen - very stylish in the period, but the photo is so washed out that details remain unseen. She does, however, wear eyeglasses which can be seen by looking at the bridge of her nose and the temple piece over her right ear. Her waistline is emphasized by a ribbon sash and her hair drawn conservatively up to her head.
Notes	This image is from a collection of glass plate negatives which have a tendency to deteriorate over time. Due to age and storage conditions, some images may show signs of deterioration.
