Description	This young girl is seemingly dressed for First Communion. She would seem to be Catholic as she holds not only a prayer book, but also rosary beads. The exuberant use of machine lace for this special occasion clothing is typical of the period. She has a small decorative pin at the center neckline of her dress. Notice that she also wears eye glasses.
Notes	This image is from a collection of glass plate negatives which have a tendency to deteriorate over time. Due to age and storage conditions, some images may show signs of deterioration.
