Notes	"At the close of Easter vacation in 1906, came the most demanding challenge of all - a fire that completely destroyed the Normal School on the night April 17 and 18 - just before students returned to their classes after the holiday." - "In A Valley Fair" The following is a quote from the Kingston Daily Freeman. "An exploding lamp was the cause of the fire."
