Description	Dicharge papers of William W. Coon, born in New Bern, North Carolina. William was 17 years old at the time of his enrollment in Company K of the Eleventh Regiment of the united States Colored Infantry. He was 19 years old at the time of his discharge in Ulster County. This certificate was given to him in Greenville North Carolina.

Attached to Post and Defenses of Memphis, Tenn., District of West Tennessee, to July, 1865. 2nd Infantry Brigade, District of West Tennessee, to September, 1865.
