Notes	Cornelia Eltinge Deyo (b. 16 Oct 1800 d. 04 May 1862) is the daughter of Josiah P. Eltinge (1762-1834) and Sarah Lefevre (1768-1822). She was one of eight children; her siblings were Andries, Mariah, Rachel, Cornelia, Magdalene, Gertrude, Roelif and Abraham. Roelif's daughter (Cornelia's niece) was Rachel Eltinge (1847-1921) whose letters can be found in the online exhibit, "The School Letters of Rachel Eltinge". She married Peter Deyo on January 29th, 1820. Together they had seven children (Josiah 1821-1905, Jonathan 1823-1826, Ira 1826-1891, Jonathan 1829-1906, Asa 1832-1832, Mary 1833-1864, Abraham 1837-1918), five of which lived into adulthood.
