Notes	Mariah Eltinge (b. 08 Sep 1794 d. 13 Jan 1873) was the daughter of Josiah P. Eltinge (1762-1834) and Sarah Lefevre (1768-1822). She was one of eight children (Andries, Rachel, Cornelia, Magdalene, Gertrude, Roelif and Abraham). Roelif's daughter (Mariah's niece) is Rachel Eltinge (1847-1921), whose letters can be seen in the online exhibit, "The School Letters of Rachel Eltinge". Mariah first married John Bogardus (1785-1840) on February 20th, 1833 and later married Abraham P. Lefevre (1792-1879) on February 22nd, 1845.
