This Indenture made this Nineteenth day of July in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and Seventy Between Abijah Yelverton of the precinct of Goshen in the County of Orange and province of Newyork yeoman of the one part, and Bridgett Jones of the precinct of Cornwall in the County of Orange and province aforesaid widow of Evan Jones late of Ulster County and province aforesaid Deased, of the other part Witnesseth that the said Abijah Yelverton for and in Consideration of the Sum of five shilling Current Money of the province of Newyork to him in hand paid by the said Bridgett Jones at and Immediately before the Ensealing of these presents the Receipt where of the Said Abijah Yelverton doth hereby Acknowledge the the Said Abijah Yelverton Hath Granted Bargained and Sold and by these present doth Grant Bargain and Sell unto the Said Bridgett Jones all that Certain messuage or tenement piece or parcel of Land Situate Lying and being in the patent of Wawayanda in the County of Orange and province of Newyork and being part of a large Farm or Tract of land Commonly Called Crommelins Farm and also being part of the Lot of Land Number four and is Bound as follows towit Beginning at the Westmost Corner of the Lot number three Now in the possession of Michael Jackson, then South forty three Degrees East fourteen Chains and twenty five Links to a stake with Stones about it, then South forty Nine Degrees West five Chains to a stake with Stones about it, then South fifteen Degrees and thirty Minutes East thirteen Chains and twenty five Links to a stake with Stones about it, then South fifty Degrees East one Chain and thirty Eight Links to a white oak tree, then South twenty three Degrees East Nine Chains and Ninety Links to a Black oak tree, then South thirty Degrees west Nine Chains to a walnut Sapling, then South Sixteen Degrees West Six Chains to a Chesnut oak Tree, then South one Degree West Nine Chain and seventy five Links to a stake Standing in the West Side of Wawayanda Road, then West Eight Degrees South one Chain and Eighty Eight Links to a walnut Tree the South Corner of the above Mentioned Tract of Land, from thence to the pace of Beginning Containing forty two acres and three Quarters of an acre be the same more of less, together with all and Singular the Houses Barns Edifices Buildings and Improvements and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents and Services of the Said premises above mentioned and of Every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances To Have and to hold the Said one fouageion Tenement piece or parcel of Land Hereditaments and premises above mentioned and Every part and parcel thereof with appurtenances unto the Said Bridgett Jones her Extrs admtrs and assigns from the day of the date of these presents for and during and unto the full End and Term of one whole year from thence Next and Immediately Ensuing fully to be Compleat and Ended Yielding and paying one pepper Corn in and upon the End of the Term if Demand, to the Intent that by Vertue of the presents and by force of the Statue of Transferring of uses into Possession She the aforesaid Bridgett Jones May be in the Actual possession of all and Singular the Said premises above mentioned with the appurtenances and be thereby Enabled to accept and take a Grant and Release of the Reversion and Inheritance therefor to her and her heirs and assigns upon and under Such provisoes and Conditions as in and by one Indenture Intended to bear Date the day next before the day of the Date of these presents and to be made Between the Abijah Yelverton of the one part and the said Bridgett Jones of the other part Shall be Declared concerning the Same, In Witness where of the Said Abijah Yelverton have to these Presents Set his hand and Seal the day and year first above Written
