Description	Ice pick from the Wilkins Ice Co. which operated out of the second floor of the building at the corner of Main and Bank Streets, downtown Chester, NY.
Notes	An ice pick is a tool used pick, or chip at ice. Before the modern refrigeration, ice was harvested over the winters and stored in insulated structures. The "ice man" used ice picks to break off manageable sized blocks for delivery route. Then, at the point of delivery, used the ice pick to cut off and shape smaller blocks of ice fit in ice boxes.
