The Hudson View House seems to expanded towards the river and each addition was a story higher than the previous one. It must have had a wonderful view. The postcard is dated 1923 and has a short note, "Having a fine Time, Arthur."
Here is the Bight as it looked before the Tappan Zee Bridge was built. The photographer was in Grand View, shooting north towards South Nyack. This was a wonderful fishing spot.
