One page death notice of Levi Hasbrouck who died March 7th, 1861. A small black border surrounds the entire obituary. The paper, on which the obituary is printed on, has been folded and opens like a book, with the obituary on the first page.
The German Presbyterian Church had an entrance on the left side, and a large stained glass window in the center. The brick structure was at the corner of Franklin Street and High Avenue. A steep stairway led up to the double, carved wooden doors.

The congregation of the Pilgrim Baptist Church has enlarged the brick structure and moved the entrance from Franklin Street to High Avenue. The new entry has a double stairway leading to it and the old entryway has a door leading to the basement.
