This hazy black and white view of the Nyack Library has no date, but it does have small evergreen trees on either side of the door. These trees do not appear in earlier pictures of the library.
The north side of the Salisbury House is covered with ivy. The dwelling is surrounded by trees, including a beautiful elm at the right. Piermont Avenue is paved and a road leading to the left is labeled, Private Road.

The large main house of the Moorings Estate, owned by the Clarkstown Country Club, was partly stone and partly half-timbered. The grounds were extensive, planted with shade and flowering trees and gardens.
The gate is open in the brick wall and parts of the Tudor-style house can be seen. There are three different roof levels. Two huge trees near the gate frame the house in the distance.

Partly hidden by shade trees are two buildings, one frame and one stone, which held the elephants and the trucks of the Clarkstown Country Club in Nyack (South Nyack).
