The residence of Pierre Bernard, operator of the Clarkstown Country Club, was a wide, two and a half story frame house with an addition on either end. On the lower story, ground level windows opened onto a wide patio and lawn.
A 13 x 20-foot sign advertises field events. On Friday evening, August 25 at 8:15 PM, a gala international wrestling championship will be held. The event would benefit the Haverstraw Elks Lodge and James A. Farley was the honorary chairman.

The large main house of the Moorings Estate, owned by the Clarkstown Country Club, was partly stone and partly half-timbered. The grounds were extensive, planted with shade and flowering trees and gardens.
