Saugerties Waterways - This collection focuses on the water, both creek and river, that flows through our area, connecting the Catskill Mountains and the Hudson River. These waterways attracted the first industry in the early 19th century, when Henry Barclay built the Ulster Iron Works and his paper mill. Water supplied the power needed for industry, transportation, as well as pleasure. Here are some of our postcards showing that piece of the story of Saugerties.

Saugerties Street Scenes - A collection of illustrations and photographs depicting the Village of Saugerties over several decades.

Saugerties Buildings - A collection of images of various buildings found throughout the village and town.

SPL Cabinet Cards - Browse our collection of cabinet cards from local portrait studios, including two tintypes.

Everyday Life - This collection contains photographs from the 19th and 20th century.

Atlas References - A collection of local historical maps.
