Description	Inventory form for building located on West Lake Rd; east side; at intersection of Mr. Farm Rd. recording the following information: Peter Regna (owner at time of inventory). Spanish Mission; 3-story; rectangular; red brick; quoins; Spanish roof tiles; curved gable ends; arched windows; elaborate grille work on entrance door; quatrefoils; skylights; Ionic columns; egg & dart ornamentation; 2nd story galleries; sandstone sills; tower. Interior: oak paneled library & dining room; 26 rooms; marble floor in foyer. Built 1899 by William A. Bates (1853-1922). "The Hacienda", as it is sited on the 1903 Atlas, is indicative of the Spanish influence on architecture at the turn of the century. Designed by William A. Bates in 1899, this twenty-six room mansion was first owned by T. G. Condon. The estate was sold in 1908 to Florence Barbey, the wife of a grandson of Pierre Lorillard Sr. Although damaged by fire in the 1920's, indications from a 1909 postcard, is that the building was restored and remains essentially Spanish Mission. It is presently owned by Peter and Frances Regna, a young couple, who are attempting to preserve the architectural integrity of this structure.
