Description	Inventory form for building located on West Lake Rd.; at intersection of Ontio Rd. recording the following information: Soren J. Winger (owner at time of inventory). 2 1/2-story; broad gable roof; glass enclosed porch; bay windows; 6/6; shed dormers; high cut stone foundation; casement windows; open porch on S side. Built 1885-1886 by Bruce Price 1845-1903. This house has undergone considerable remodeling. The front porches have been reduced in depth and a garage has been inserted. Long dormers on either side of the upper part of the roof have been added. The present white paint has destroyed much of the quality of the original shingle texture. This house is one of the existing Shingle Style cottages designed by Bruce Price, for Pierre Lorillard, in 1885-1886. Francis D. Carley purchased this cottage in 1886, (sited 1886 & 1892 maps). In 1896, he sold the property to William R. Garrison, Jr., the son of railroad magnate, William ReTallach Garrison. Garrison moved the cottage across the road in order to use the lakefront property for his new home "Re Tallach", sited 1903 Atlas. The "Price Cottage" was owned by Garrison until 1910, when he sold it to Frederick Kingsbury Curtis, a notable New York lawyer.
