Resolved Unanimously that all persons abiding within the State of New York
and deriving protection from the Laws of the same owe alligance the
the said Laws and all members of the state, and that
all persons passing thru visiting or making a temp[torn]
stay in the said state being Intitled to the protection
of the Laws during the time of such passage visitations
or temporary stay owe during the same time allegience
thereto ---
That all persons members of or owing allegiance to
this state as before described who shall Levy War
against the said state within the same or be adherent
to the King of Great Britain or others the Enemies of
the said state within the same, giving to him or
them aid and comfort are guilty of Treason
against the state and being thereof convicted
shall suffer the penalty of Death
