Similar blue and white woven tape has been found in the Locust Lawn collection on aprons and in a bundle on a wooden winder. Tapes were used for binding on clothing, quilts, carpets, etc. Tapes were woven on small looms that sat on a table. The works in this exhibition are on display from October 16-December 12, 2010 and January 26-March 18, 2011 at the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art at the SUNY New Paltz, 1 Hawk Drive, New Paltz, NY.
