| Description | The front view is an image of a young girl sitting on a blue blanket surrounded by trees and flowers. A poem is at the bottom, with "Spring" written in gold at her feet. Page 2 and 3, consist of a 1881 calendar on the left with Legal Holidays and Church Days on the right. An inscription on the top of page 3 reads "For Miss Innis From F.L.". Page 4 and 5, has two images one of a man and woman holding a puppy and the next is a mother and her daughter picking apples. Each have poems at the bottom with "Summer" written at the bottom of the 4th page and "Autumn" on the bottom of the 5th. Page 6 and 7 have Rates of postage, Miscellaneous matter and a list of the Presidents and Vice-Presidents of the United States. The back is marked "Winter" and has a image of an old woman reading a letter. |
| Notes | E. P. Dutton & Co. began in Boston, Massachusetts as a book retailer in 1852 by Edward Payson Dutton. In 1864, the company expanded to New York City. The company is one of the oldest continually operating children's book publishers in the United States whose books include the Winnie-the-Pooh stories. |
