Translation	Ulster viz: In the first yeare of George of Great Britain France Ireland King defender of the faith_ The jurors for our sovereign lord the king That now is impannelled & sworne for to inquire For the body of the county of ulster upon Theire oath do present Dirck negroman of Jan Heermans & Thom negroman of Capt. Egbert Schoonmaker for that they the said Dirck & Thom in the month of August last past In the bounds of the corporation of Kingston on The north side of the Esopus Creek on the Low lands a horse of Capt. [J] Rutsen & a horse Of Mr [J] Louw did take and the said horses Did ride in the dead time of the night so farr [sic] As neare where Johannis Birhans Lives And the said horse in the said riding did miserarble [sic] abuse & misuse to the grievious damage of the said Rutsen & Louw & agst the peace of our sovereign lord the king his crown & dignity
