Will of David Johnston

              In the name of god amen I David Johnston of the Town of Washington in the County of Dutchess and State of New York being of sound and  disposing mind memory and understanding but ______ of the frailty of human nature and the uncertainty of this life do for the disposition of my worldy estate make constitute and ordain the following to he my last will and testament First I do give devise and bequeath into my beloved wife Magdalen in case she shall survive me all and singular my real estate whatsoever situate in the towns of Washington and Clinton respectively in said County with all the buildings and improvements thereon and the appurtenances there to belonging to have and to hold the same and the rents issues and proffits thereof with the appurtencencees into my said wife for and during her natural life and no longer subject nevertheless to the maintenance and support of my daughter Magdalen
