| Notes | Cornelius Dubois, Jr. was the son of Cornelius Dubois and Ann Margrietje Hoogteeling on June 6, 1750. Cornelius married Gertrude Bruyn on October 28, 1770, according to bible in the possession of Historic Huguenot Street. Gertrude was the daughter of Jacobus Bruyn III and Jeannie Graham, grand-daughter of Jacobus Bruyn II and Tryntje Schoonmaker. Gertrude was born December 23, 1747, death date unknown. Cornelius died on March 17, 1816, according to the same bible as stated above. Cornelius and Gertrude had 12 children. Surname spellings and their variants: Dubois, DuBois. |
