| Description | Rachel opens the letter to her father talking about coming home and her plans for the evening. She apologizes for not sending a picture and then goes into some information about the male "day schollars" and their flirtatious activities. She expresses some political hopes for in the near future with the elections. After that quick segue she returns to talk about college boys and a potential male caller. She discusses the possibility of not writing letters to her sisters, Mary and Sarah, in time before study hour and that she is expecting to hear from Mr. George P. Lord and his wife Mary. If she does hear from them, she will have her bag packed to travel. She closes the letters with hopes to hear from her father soon. |
