Cornelius and Christina Louw were the administrators of this settlement of the estate of the late Cornelius T. Jansen of Shawangunk. It is dated April 15th, 1814, some 16 years, 4 months and 15 days after Cornelius' estate was first settled. His wife, Christina, had been named the executrix of his estate in an earlier document (Nov. 1796). Christina later married her neighbor, the widowed Cornelius Louw, who had lost his wife, Maritje in 1789. She along with Maritje are buried in the Shawangunk Reformed Dutch Church Grounds at Bruynswick, Ulster County. Cornelius and Christina Jansen had five children: Thomas C. (b.1787), John Morris (b. 1788), Jacob (b. 1780), Jacob (b. 1791) and Morris (b. 1793). Surname spellings and their variants: Jansen, Janson, Johnson
