Description	Deeply embossed rectangular printed card with embossed paper lace with blue silk inserts, which has been attached with accordion-folded paper springs. The background of the card is silver with embossed flowers in pink, yellow and green. The center is open which shows an embossed die-cut gelatin-glossed print of a bouquet of flowers that is in the interior. Interior is light blue paper, with red printed border along the top and bottom with red text in the center, "My Wish. -:o:- It's my wish dearest friend, My love ever may blend, With gifts and with kindness, Thy young life to crown." The back has a handwritten inscription "from Ella" written in black ink.
Notes	Valentine greetings have been a tradition since the 1400s. Valentines, especially in England, were given in place of valentine gifts. Valentines were usually made out of paper. By the early 1800's Valentines were manufactured by machines. Paper lace was introduced in the mid 1800's, but real lace and ribbon was often used.
