Description	Three miniature ink drawings on paper created by Alfred Hasbrouck. The first two entitled "Locust Lawn ink drawing" and "Locust Lawn ink drawing 1839" are the front west view of Locust Lawn, the Josiah Hasbrouck House. The road is visible, which is Route 32 today. The house is surrounded by a fence with a stone entrance and wall on the right hand side. Several out buildings are also visible in the upper right hand corner, including a well house, which is still standing at Locust Lawn, the Josiah Hasbrouck House today. Several trees are visible through out the drawing as well. Each have Alfred Hasbrouck's signature in the right hand corner along the side of the millstone or grinding stone. "Locust Lawn ink drawing dated 1839" has a the date 1839 below Alfred's signature. The other entitled "Alfred Hasbrouck's self-portrait" is a profile view of Alfred, which was also drawn in ink.
Notes	"Locust Lawn" and "Alfred Hasbrouck's self-portrait", late 19th century sketches were found in a pocket-sized, leather-bound sketchbook which contains ink drawings of local historic sites and stereotypical cartoon images drawn by Dr. Alfred Hasbrouck, amateur artist and physician of Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, NY. Surname spellings and their variants: Hasbrouck, Hasboruck
