High Falls N,Y,
Sept.26,1918
Dear Grandma & all,
Well I guess you thought
I never was going to write
but please forgive me this
time as I have been so busy
and when I do get a little
shaft 5
on the night shift and don’t
get much sleep. I just wrote
a letter to Aunt Julia.
I have been transfered [sic] from
Camp Peak where I was at
first to what they call
