Joseph Drake and John Jackson to Abijah Yelverton Indenture

              This Indenture Made the Twenty-Ninth Day of January in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety five Between Joseph Drake and John Jackson both of Chester in the County of Orange and State of New York of the first part and Abijah Yelverton of the same Place Innkeeper of the Second part Witnesseth that the said Joseph Drake and John Jackson for and in Consideration of the Sum of Twenty Pounds current Lawful Money of the State of New York to themin hand paid by the said Abijah Yelverton the Receipt whereof and Lares Sachon for the same si hereby acknowledged Have granted bargained Sold Released and forever quit claimed and by these Presents Do grant bargain Sell and forever quit claim unto the said Abijah Yelverton (in his Actual Possession now being) and to his heirs and Assigns forever All that certain Lot piece or parcel of Land Situate in Chester aforesaid which the said Abijah Yelverton and Margaret his wife conveyed to the said Joseph Drake and John Jackson by Indentures of Lease and Release bearing Date the Eighty and Ninth Days of March in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty three the bound whereof are as follow (to wit) Beginning at  Stake standing in the line of the Lands now or late of the said Abijah Yelverton on the main Road leading from Chester to warwick Running thence along said line and Road South Eleven Degrees East three Chains and forty one links to the line of the Land of the said John Jackson thence along said line
