Yelverton - Smith indenture

              This Indenture Made this First day of May in the Year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninty Fore Between Abijah Yelverton of the Township Goshen in the County of Orange and State of New York Innkeeper of the One parte and Oliver Smith of the Township County and State Aforesaid Yeoman of the Other parte Witnesseth that he the Said Abijah Yelverton for and in Consideration of the Sum of Sixty Eight pounds six Shillings of good and Lawful money of the State Aforesaid to Him in hand paid By the Said Oliver Smith the Receipt whereof the Said Abijah Yelverton doth hereby Acknowledg and the Said Oliver Smith his heirs Executors and Administrators therefrom fully disharge and for Other Causes and Considerations him thereunto moving he the Said Abijah Yelverton (By and with the Consent and Agreement of Margret his wife Signified by her being a party to the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents) Hath Given granted Bargained Sold Alliened released Conveyed and Confirmed and by these presents doth fully and Absolutely Give Give grant Bargain Sell Allien releas Convey and Confirm unto the Said Oliver Smith and to his heirs Executors and Assigns forever. All that Sertain Lot piece or percel of Land and premises Situate in theCount of Ornage Aforesaid being in the Pattent of Wawayanda Being Lot Number fourteen in the first Division of a subdivision of the farm where on the Said Abijah Yelverton Now Lives refferance being had to the Map and field book thereof made by Able Gale May more fully Appear which Lot of Land is bounded as follows Beginning at a red Cedar Stake in the South Corner of Lot Number Thirteen and on the Northeast Side of the road and from Thence running along Number Thirteen north ?? degrees East two Chains on Links to a stake then South Sixteen Degrees east one Chain fifty four Links along the Lands of John Jackson to a Stake in the North Corner of Lot Number fifteen thence Along the Same South Sixty degrees west one Chain Ninty one Links to the highway thence Along the same North thirty four degrees fifty minutes west one Chain fifty Links to the Place of Beginning Containing one Quarter of an Acre and Ten Porches of Land Likewise one Other Lot of piece of Land in the Said first Division known by Lot fifteen and bounded as follows Beginning at the South Corner of the Aforesaid Lot Number fourteen and from thence Running Along the Same North Sixty degrees east one Chain Ninty one Links to a Stake then South Sixteen degrees East three Chains Sixty Links to a stake near Oliver Smith's house and to the aforesaid highway thence Along the highway Northwestartly as it runs three Chains fifty Links to the Beginning Containing one Quarter Seventeen porches of Land Also one Other Lot of piece of Land and premises Situate in the Second Division of the aforesaid Subdivision and known by Lot Eleven of  Said Division and bounded as follows Beginning at the East Corner of Lot Number ten and from Thence runs South thirty five degrees and fifteen minutes East two Chains to a stake then South Sixty Six degrees west Seven Chains twenty Eight links to a stake then North twelve degrees west two Chains and fifty Links to a stake then North Seventy degrees forty five Minutes East Six Chains thirty five Links to the beginning Containing one Acre one Quarter twenty Eight perches of Lands Likewise one other Lot or piece of Land premises Situate in the said Second Division bounded as follows Beginning at the East Corner of the aforesaid Lot Number Eleven and from thence running South forty three degrees East two Chains to a stake then South Sixty Two Degrees thirty minutes west Eight Chains forty one Links to a stake then North twelve degrees
