This Indenture Made this __ First __ day of May in the Year of our Lord one Thousand Seven hundred and ninty four Between Abijah Yelverton of the Town of Goshen in the County of Orange in the State of New York InnKeeper of the one parte and John Jackson of the town County and State aforesaid Yeoman of the Other parte Witnesseth that he the Said Abijah Yelverton for and in Consideration of the Sum of fifteen pounds and five Shillings of good and Lawful money of the State aforesaid to him in hand paid the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged and the Said John Jackson his heirs Executors therefrom fully Discharged and for Other Causes and Considerations him therunto moving he the Said Abijah Yelverton Hath (By and with the Consent and Agreement of Margert his wife Signified by Being a party to the Sealing and Delivery these Presents) Given granted bargained Sold Aliened Conveyed and Confirmed and by there Presents doth fully and Absolutly Give grant bargain Sell Alien Convey and Confirm unto Said John Jackson (In his Actuel possession now being) and to his heirss and Assigns for ever all that Sartain Lot or piece of Land and premises situate in the Town of Goshen aforesaid being parte of the farm whereon the Said Abijah Yelverton now Live and known on a Map and Division thereof made by Lot number three in the first division and bounded as follows Beginning at the West Corner of Lot Number two at a Stake and from thence North forty two degrees East one chain Eighteen Links to the Land Belonging to the widow Townsend thence Along her Line South forty four Degrees fifteen Minutes East three Chains fifty Six Links to a Stake thence South forty Eight degrees West cone Chain ten Links to a Stake then North forty five degrees thirty Minutes west Eight Chains Sixty Links to a Stake thence North twelve Degrees thirty Minutes East thirteen Links to the place of Beginning Containing one Quarter of and thirty one porches Together with all and Singular the ways paths wood and underwood Easments profits Commodities Advantages hereditaments and appurtenences tot he Same belonging or in any wise Appurtaining and also all the Right Title Interest property possession Calim and Demand whatsoever of the them the the Said Abijah Yelverton and Margret his wife their heirs and Assigns of in and to the Same and of in and to any parte and parte thereof To have and to hold the Above Granted Land and premises unto the Sd. John Jackson his heirs and Assigns to the only use and behoof of him the Said John Jackson his heirs and Assigns forever and he the Said Abijah Yelverton for himself his heirs Executors and Administrators doth Covenant promise grant and Agree to and with the Said John Jackson his heirs and Assigns in Manner following, that is that he the Said Abijah Yelverton at the Time and Immediately before the Executing of these presents is Rightfully and Lawfuly Sealed in his own right of a good sure perfect Absolute and Indifeasable Estate of Inheretance in fee simple of in and to the Aforesaid Lands and premises and Every parte and parcel thereof and also that he the Said John Jackson his heirs and Assigns Shall and may at all Times forever hereafter peacablely and Queately have hold Occupy possess and Enjoy all and Singular the Lands and premises Above Mentioned free and Clear of all Incumbrances whatsoever and Lastly that he the Said Abijah Yelverton for himself his heirs Executors and Administrators the Above granted Lands and premises with their Appurtenences unto the Said John Jackson his heirs Executors and Administrator and Assigns Against the Just and Lawful Claim of all and Every person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and by these presents for ever Defend in testamoney whereof the parties to these presents have hereunto Sat their hands and Seals the day and Year first Above Written
