              This Indenture Made this twenty first Day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and Eighty two Between Peter Clowes Daniel Everett Honory Difner and William Holly all of the Precinct of goshen in the County of Orange and State of New york Each of the one part and Oliver Smith - - - - -of the Same Place of the other Parts Witnesseth that they the Said Peter Clowes Danie Everett Honsey Difnor and William Holly in Consideration of the Rents and Covenant herein after mentioned hat Lot to from into the unto the Said - - - - Oliver Smith - - - - - a certain Tract of Land in the County of Orange aforesaid and Patent of Wawayanda Bounded as followoth to it Begining at a maple tree Marked With VII then Runing a Long the foot of the hill North Easterdly about thirty Rod to a Whit ash tree Marked for a Corner then South Easterdly to a Walnut Saplon then N West abut thirty Rods to a stake and stones then to the Place of begining Containing one hundred acres of Land be the Same More of Less to hath for and During the Term of Seven years from the Day of the Date hereof thence ward insuing and fully to Be Compleated and Ended he the Said - - - - Oliver Smith - - - - - yielding and paying the yearly Rental of four fat goat - - - - at the End of - - - - - Every year Delivering the Said Toem and at the End of Said Term Deliver up to the Said Leser their Be?? and ?? onto one of them a Leaseable Possession of the Said Lands and Premises and the Paid Lesaer Do Covenant grant and agreed to and Withe the Said Losaer that he the Said Leser his - - - this heirs Ext. adm. shall Quietly and peacable possess and Enjoy the Said Leased Land and Promise feed and coar of all person persons What so Ever Lawfully Claiming or to Claim the Land Building the Said Term of Seven years as aforesaid in Witness Where of the Portion to these Presents have here unto Put their hands and Seals the Date above Written
