Know all men by these presents that I Abijah yelverton of the precinct of goshen in County of orange of new york are held & firmly Bound unto Peter Townsend of The same County mert in the Sum of two thousand pounds Current money aforesaid to be paid to the Said Peter Townsend or to his Certain attorney Exectrs. admtrs. or assigns for which Payment will and truely to Be made, I Do bind myself my Heirs Exetrs. admtrs. Severally & Jointly by these presents inartneys Where of, There unto Set my hand & Seal this Sixteenth Day of June one thousand Seven hundred & Seventy Eight. 1778
The Condition of the obligation is Such that if the above Bound Abijah yelverton his heir Exetrs. admtrs. Shall and Do well and truly pay of Cause to be paid unto the Said Peter Townsend or to his Certain attorney Exectrs. admtrs. or assigns the Jest and full Sum of one thousand pounds Current money of New york and that at of before the Sixteenth Day of June one thousand Seven hundred and Eighty one with interest at four per Cent per annum To the Said of Else to Remain in full Force & Virtue
