This Indenture Made this Eighty day of June in the Year of Our Lord Christ in Thousand Seven hundred and Seventy Six Between Abijah Yelverton of the Precinct of Goshen in the County of Orange and Province of Newyork Yeoman and Margret his Wife of the one part and Thomas Ellison of Newwindsor in the County of Ulster and Province aforesaid Shopkeeper on the Other part Whereas the said Abijah Yelverton in and by one bond or Obligation bearing Equal Date with these presents is and Stands held and firmly bound unto the said Thomas Ellison in the penal Sum of five hundred pounds Current money of the province of Newyork Conditioned for the payment of two hundred and fifty pounds Like money aforesaid at or before the Eighty day of June next Ensuing the date of the above mentioned Obligation with Interest for the same at Seven per-cent Now This Indenture Witnesseth that the said Abijah Yelverton for the better securing the payment of the said two hundred and fifty pounds according to the Condition above mentioned obligation and also for the Consideration of the further Sum of ten Shillings Current money aforesaid to him in hand paid by the said Thomas Ellison at and Immediately before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said Abijah Yelverton doth hereby acknowledge and himself to be therewith fully Sattisfied contented and paid and thereof and of and from every part and parcel therof do quit and Disharge the said Thomas Ellison his heirs Extrs. Admtrs. and assigns and every of them by these presents they the Said Abijah Yelverton and Margret his wive Granted Bargained and Sold Alliened Enfeossed Released and Confirmed and by these presents Doth Grant Bargain and Sell Alien Enfeoss Release and Confirm unto the said Thomas Ellison in his actual possession now being by Virtue of a Bargain and Sale to him thereof made for one whole year by Indenture bearing Date the day Next Before the day of the date of these presents and by force of the Statute for Transferring of uses into possession and to his heirs and assigns forever all that certain messuage of ~~~~ Tenement Situate lying and being within Patent of Wawayanda in the precinct of Goshen in the County of Orange and Privince of Newyork and Being part of a large Tract of Land Called by the Name of Crmmelins Tract and is also part of the Lot of Land known in the maps of Draft of the said Large Tract by Lot Number four and is Bounded as follows To wit Beginning at a Black oak tree Marker and standing on the Westermost Corner of Lot number Three now in the Possession of John Jackson Thence running North forty Six Degrees and thirty minutes East Six Chains and forty Seven Links to a Black Oak Tree Marked being the Corner of a certain piece of land purchased by the Said Michael Jackson of James Ensign and being part of the Said Lot number four, then South forty three Degrees East fourteen Chains and twenty five Links to a stake with stones about it then South fifty nine Degrees West five Chains to a stake with stones about it then South fifteen Degree and thirty minutes East thirteen Chains and twenty five Links to a stake with stones about it then South fifty Degrees East one Chain and thirty Eight Links to a white oak tree marked then South twenty three Degrees East Nine Chains and ninety Links to a Black Oak Tree Marked then South thirty Degrees West nine Chains to a walnut Sapling Marked Then South Sixteen Degree West six Chains to a Chestnut Oak tree Marked then South one Degree West Nine Chains and twenty five Links to a stake standing on the West side of Wawayanda Road then West Eight Degree South one Chain and Eighty Links to a Walnut Tree if being the South Corner of the above mentioned Large Tract of Land and from thence along the line of the Said Tract to the Place of Beginning Containing forty two acres and three Quarters of an Acre be the Same more of less within the bounds and Limits aforesaid (which Said Messuage or Tenement was purchased by John Yelverton Grandfather of the Said Abijah Yelverton of James Ensign by certain Indenture bearing Date the Nineteenth day o May in the Year of Our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and fifty five, and in and by Last Will and Testament of the said
