This Indenture Made the Twenty Eight Day of Dec. on the Fifteenth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the France of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and in the Year of our Lord Christ one thousand Seven hundred and Seventy Five Between John Carman of the County of Ulster in the Province of Newyork Yeoman and Elizabeth his wife of the one part, and Abijah Yelverton of the County of Orange and Province aforesaid Yeoman of the other part, Witnesseth that they said John Carman and Elizabeth his wife for and in Consideration of the Sum of one Hundred pounds Current Lawfull Money of the Province of Newyork aforesaid to them in hand paid by the Said Abijah Yelverton at and Immediately before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged by the said John Carman and Elizabeth his wife and themselves to be therewith fully Sattisfied Contented and paid and the said Abijah Yelverton his Executors and Admns. thereof and of and from every part and parcel thereof Exconnated Released and forever Discharged by these presents they the said John Carman and Elizabeth his wife have Granted bargained and Sold Aliened Released and Confirmed and by these presents doth fully freely and absolutely Grant bargain and Sell Alien Release and Confirm unto the Said Abijah Yelverton his actual Possession now being by Virtue of a bargain and Sale to him thereof Made for one whole Year by Indenture bearing date the day Next before the day of the Date of these presents and by force of the Statute for Transferring of uses into Possession and to his heirs and assigns forever all those three Several Lots pieces or parcels of Lands hereafter in these presents mentioned and Discribed to wit, the first of the said three Lots is Situate lying and being in the Township of Newburgh on the West Side of the Hudson River in the County of Ulster and within the Province of Newyork and Known thereby Lot No. 2 and is Butted and Bounded as follows Easterly Eight Seven feet and a half on Wagon Street, Northerly on Hundred and forty Eight feet Six Inches on Lott No. 21, Westerly Eighty Seven feet and a half on High Street and Southerly one Hundred and forty feet Nine Inches on Lot No. 23 the Second Lot piece or parcel of Land is also Situate lying and being in the Township of Newburgh aforesaid and in one Equal parts of Lot No. 6 and is Bounded Easterly Twenty one feet Ten Inches and a half on Hudson River Northerly Sixty feet on the Quarter part of the Said Lott formerly belonging to John Yelverton Deceased, Westerly Twenty on feet ten Inches and a half in Water Street Southerly Six feet on the other half part of Said Lot No. 6 which Said Lots pieces or parcels of Lands being part of a Certain Number of Lots of Land which Phinehas McIntosh Esqr. Conveyed to the above Named John Yelverton Reference being had to the Deed thereof bearing date the Third day of april Annoq. Demini 1730 and to aplan of the Said Township Made by Calwalder Colden may more fully appear, and the above Named John Yelverton did by Indentures of lease and Release bearing date the first and Second days of august in the Year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty Six Convey the said two Lots pieces or parcels of Land unto the above Named John Carman which by the said Lease and Release being had may more fully and at Large appear, and the other Lot being one of the three Lots above Granted is Situate lying and being on the West Side of Hudson River, in the Precinct of New Windsor in the County of Ulster aforesaid Commonly Called and Known by the Name of New Windsor and the Said Lot Known there by Lot Number three and being parts of the Second Division of the Propriators of New Windsor and may be more fully Seen in a map or Draught made of the Township of New Windsor by Charles Clinton Esq. Reference thereunto being had may fully appear, and the Said Lot Number three is Butted and Bounded as follows to wit Beginning at a heap of Stones Standing on the North Side of the Road that leads from Wallkill to New Windsor Landing where an Elm is Marked Number III on the South Side and IV on the North Side, and Runs thence South fifty four Degrees East Nearly as the Road Runs twelve Chains to a large white Oak Tree Marked with
