Quit Claim.
This Indenture, made the Seventeenthe (17) day of April in the year one thousand eight hundred and forty nine between John S Seely and Ann L his wife of the town of Chester in the County of Orange and State of New York of the first part and Francis Tuthill of the same place of ~~~~~~~~~-of the second part, witnesseth that the said partys of the first part, for in and consideration of the sum of one dollar lawful money of the United States of America, to us in hand paid, by the said party of the second part, at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have remised, released and quit claimed, and by these presents do remise, release and quit claim, unto the said part of the second part, and to his heirs and assigns forever, All the equal undivided one half of that certain lot piece or parcel of land and of the brick store standing thereon situated lying and being in the village of East Chester in the County of Orange aforesaid and more particularly described as follows viz being in block No 4 in said village and commencing at the north westerly corner of a brick stone and lot owned by Hezekiah H Strong and runs thence along the line of the highway leading to the Chester Depot westerly twenty two feet to the corner of a lot owned by the said Francis Tuthill thence along the line of said lot southerly forty two feet to centre street thence along street easterly twenty two feet to the southwesterly corner of the said stone and lot of the said Hezekiah H Strong thence northerly through the middle of the partition wall of the store of the said Hezekiah H Strong and the store standing upon the lot herein described forty two feet to the place of beginning containing about nine hundred and twenty four square feet of land be the same more or less.
Together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in anywise appertaining, and the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues, and profits thereof. And also, all the estate, right, title, interest, ������.property, possession, claim and demand whatsoever, as well in law as in equity, of the said parties of the first part, of, in, or to the above described premises, and every part and parcel thereof, with the appurtenances. To have and to hold, all and singular the above mentioned and described premises, together with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part,�����...and assigns for ever.
